Solo, Birdfriend,
The second chick is born, almost 24 hrs after the first
....and the third is on the way, there is a pip
about one hour after the hatch, the second chick (in front) got already its first meal
both are pretty strong and loud and good eaters
first bite for #2
yeah, took it

Shortly after breakfast ...
happy Daddy sees his second born the first time
and gets the opportunity to incubate
while Diamond took out the remains of the prey
both in food coma
only 2 min, then Diamond returned and poor Xavier had to get off again

Balistar , thank you for the nice pics and reporting. Diamond lets Xavier not much time as always, although he likes it very much to spend time with the lils.
So far no third chick yet...

Birdfriend, yesterday he got 2 min
I fear, the 3rd egg will again not hatch, i didn't hear the chick anymore since hours and there is no progress, pip still has the same size - but i'm still hoping. If not, maybe it's better, considering the drought, there will be hardly enough food for 2 chicks.
Anyway have a nice Sunday
Australia changed into daylight saving time tonight, pic 07-10-19, 12:29 am
Diamond woke up the chicks by shuffling and rolling the 3rd egg
