Xavier comes with starling, Diamond don't want to leave the eggs. Xavier flew away with it again.

Diamond got up and little baby lifted its head for a moment,
it dries up pretty fast, see the little beak ? sooo cute :innocent:

Solo, Birdfriend,


The second chick is born, almost 24 hrs after the first :bounce:
....and the third is on the way, there is a pip :loveshower:


about one hour after the hatch, the second chick (in front) got already its first meal :thumbs:
both are pretty strong and loud and good eaters :laugh:

Shortly after breakfast ...
happy Daddy sees his second born the first time :loveshower:
and gets the opportunity to incubate :headroll:
while Diamond took out the remains of the prey

both in food coma

Balistar :wave: , thank you for the nice pics and reporting. Diamond lets Xavier not much time as always, although he likes it very much to spend time with the lils.

I fear, the 3rd egg will again not hatch, i didn't hear the chick anymore since hours and there is no progress, pip still has the same size - but i'm still hoping. If not, maybe it's better, considering the drought, there will be hardly enough food for 2 chicks.
