Estonian TV coverage hours - preliminary
Just in case you want to arrange your schedule for the day/s. And to stock up with food & drink. :innocent:

ETV
Direct stream at http://otse.err.ee/etv/
NB Estonian hours - corresponding times where you are for instance HERE

Friday, 4th July 2014.
6 p.m. First performance of the 19th dance celebration Puudutus (The Touch).
8.25 pm "Pillipidu" - Instruments Feast

Saturday 5th July 2014
1.55 p.m. Procession. The route of the about 5-kilometer-long procession has its beginning in the centre of town and the procession will end at Tallinn Song Festival Grounds.
8 p.m. First concert of the 26th song celebration Aja puudutus (Touched by Time). Location: Tallinn Song Festival Grounds. Length: about 4 hours. The beginning of the concert is estimated. The concert will begin right after the end of the procession.

Sunday 6th July 2014
1.55 p.m. Second concert of the 26th song celebration Puudutuse aeg (The Time to Touch). Location: Tallinn Song Festival Grounds. Length: about 7 hours.

Enjoy! There will certainly be videos for those who haven't the time to watch directly.
Minor grumble to ETV and festival arrangers: the TV schedule was not easy to find, even less so in English.
Check for revisions!

When will the flame arrive at the Festival - is it part of the procession or be there before?

The Laulupidu fire is scheduled to arrive at Kalevi stadium at 18.00 hours (Estonian time) on Friday, July 4th, for the first festival performance.
And it seems it will probably stay there for the duration of the Laulupidu.*

Some facts, fiction, history and stories about the Laulupeod, fresh from - if not the printing press, then server. Click on the little square saying pdf to browse.

Seeing it all:
In addition to TV (ETV) programmes all will be transmitted at laulupidu.err.ee.
If I understand it right.
Which is nice, since ETV will for instance send the full 5 hours of procession on Saturday, but not quite all of the 4 - 7 hours of concert sessions.

*Edit: The fire will also be carried along in the procession on July 5th.

For Macdoum - Tõnis Mägi - Koit:

One of the real emotional moments ...
“One can measure the greatness and the moral progress of a nation by looking at how it treats its animals” (Mahatma Gandhi)
"You can judge a man's true character by the way he treats his fellow animals" (Paul McCartney)
