:hi:
Today has not seen a beaver. the water level still rises.

video Saturday mornings 6:25. a little bit different.
The beaver appears, moves backwards, swims upwards, dives its feet (legs) open.

Fresh news: the cam will be removed soon to a new red deer feeding ground.

The article mainly mentions the species that were observed.

Thank you. I guessed already that it will be the Red deer cam.
The cripple Google translation of the Estonian makes it impossible for me to judge the species that are named.

Oh, the review of species is very basic and superficial.
It however mentions a dedicated bird aficionado who has counted almost 110 bird species. I guess this is you, Hagnat.
Google says: an overwhelming birdwoman. I cannot understand how andunud linnuhuviline translates into something like this.

This is my list of oberved birds. viewtopic.php?p=537553#p537553 Only 108 identified species, so it can't be me :innocent: .
Most were probably breeding within hearing distance.

17:48 Beaver.

Image

17:58 Fighting Red deer in the background, not even far away.
I am surprised because since the start of this cam we have seen only one Red deer (a doe on June 9), suggesting it was a straggler.

18:09 Beaver, also going downstream.
18:20 Distant Tawny owl, Mallards, gnawing Beaver and a barking dog.
18:37 Another(?) Beaver going downstream.

The beaver from 17:48 I saw diving directly in the middle of the cam view.

It states that the pictures are by Tiit Hunt, but that is not true.

23:30 Since about 20 min there are sooo many different sounds from birds and other animals, it is a like a jungle out there, a bit scary, but very interesting. Unfortunately I can't say what species, I don't know so much. Definitely there was a dog barking, owls and maybe a deer, ducks, a flock of migrating geese and I heard a bird (perhaps the owl catched it while sleeping). Once I thougt I hear something like a gunshot, hope I'm wrong.

Good night everbody
