Male is sitting still on the egg. It will take a while, till he give up too.

I made a video when she laid her 2nd egg. I had to wait hours to see it. she hid both eggs deep in the nest bowl. Now I saw them :2thumbsup:

7:21 poor Dad comes down again for incubating. Only five minutes break for him. :slap:
he is incubating without help since 23.02.2020
I hope his survival instinct will soon make him leave this dead egg.

8:35 Looks like he's finally giving up :bow: :2thumbsup:

8:20 he is calling jumped on the left branch and flew away
8:22 he returned
8:27 again on the left branch and calling for a break - flew away
8:29 is back on the left branch
8:30 went in the nest and settles on the egg
8:34 this time he flew away
8:41 egg is still alone
8:53 both are far from the nest. Now they can enjoy the season without kids or start again

Maybe the egg is not dead? Sometimes incubating lasts up to 46 days.
