Duke Farms Eagle Cam Hillsborough, NJ
On this nest https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nj37Uc_uKj8
life is going on well . The third egg has not hatched out at all and it's good.
Here two sweet babies who although are very different size.
There live a Big Baby and a Small Baby together pretty nicely as I saw now. I followed their life some time and could see two feedings and what is wonderful I could not see any bonking at all. That's fine, because their size difference really is big.

Minnesota DNR: I scrolled back DVR and found this - incubating male changed with incoming female and then he jumped to the dead pole and the side branch

Went to see these two sweet babies there. They are doing fine . So one egg did not hatch at all. These two babies are different size, so there are a Big Baby and a Small Baby. There is not bonking as I've seen. The babies have eaten side by side and it goes well. Looks like the parents are somehow uncertain when they feed, maybe first time parents?

Only a few days til hatch time, all three eggs are stole and eaten by ravens. In last year they had 2 clutches and also all eggs went to the ravens.

It is understandable when a raven steals, say, eggs of pigeons, but how comes two eagles allow a raven to destroy their nest? They can catch a a thief, why didn't they?

In January Jackie laid 2 eggs, the 3rd egg was broken during labor, not crushed by the female. The other 2 eggs were prayed on by ravens, Jackie & Shadow were not protecting the nest as they have in the past. Jackie laid a 2nd clutch of 2 eggs in February, they have been caring for them for 35 days now and they are due to hatch this coming week.
