White-bellied Sea-Eagle (Haliaeetus leucogaster) Australia
After a long break I noticed an eagle in the nest. Eggs are laid usually in early July, so it's time to prepare the nest.

Eagle cam Sydney;
EagleWatch
After watching the eggs eagerly for weeks, waiting for the expected hatching, we have acknowledged that these eggs have failed and we have retrieved the eggs for analysis. However the cameras are still watching and we continue our research on the breeding of our pair of Sea-Eagles. Thank you to everyone for your interest and support of this project.

August 6th (Australian time)
It's like a ritual: about 6 am mom starts calling and after some time dad flies in.
Then mom flies away and dad takes care of eggs.
When mom is back dad flies away for hunting.
Sometimes he returns with a fish for breakfast.
Although I am rather a night owl than an early bird I have never seen them during the day due to time difference.
In the evening dad leaves the nest and mom incubates during the night.
Hatch due date is next week.
