If I read it right on the front page. The female is more dark, the male has more gray
http://www.looduskalender.ee/en/node/22689

then when I see it right, The male has more light feathers on his chest

Me neither. I can´t see the difference in the color of their plumage either, if I don´t see them together
But if we shall go by the talking it must be the female :D

Yes, it should be a sure sign
But when I look in my birdbooks and on the internet it´s said that it´s very difficult to see the difference between the male and female. Only that the female is slightly larger.

08:14 - Both on the nest for a second..

From this I thought on Sunday that I had seen that the grey one is slightly larger. The article on LK page says the other way round, so I have exchanged the two pictures I have put on first page.

I have heard from Urmas that there will be another name contest for the nest, so maybe by then we will have shed a light on who is who. (best would be of course to see who is on top :rotf: )

Thank you for this observation, Abigyl!

I searched for it in the archives and made pics and a video-clip of it.
Female arrived first, with a small stick, then the male came in with the mouse for his Sweetheart :D

The buzzard was sitting in the nest, calling and then flew away.

(If they have no names yet let it be Jason and Roxy)
