This year, black storks are involved in a special project on mercury pollution ("Mercury pollution in wild birds in Latvia: the current situation and reconstruction of previous changes"), as part of yesterday's Scientists 'Night 2021, our black stork specialist Maris Strazds shared knowledge about these birds' nightlife.
