15:32/15:33 Andris flew away again. If it is Andris!
15:33 he brought another twig
and flew away again.
I'm not ready for the next season :slap:

I asked a Latvian member to ask Ugis Bergmanis what he thought of the situation.
For me this is a strange couple

žubīte ST
liznm I called Uģis Bergmanis and he told me that LSE used to build nest in August, early September it is not strange thing - but so late it is a question because they had to migrate

I wonder if the two who came to the nest a few days ago, were actually Anna and Andris?

I think so too, Liz. For me, the face/the head of the Anna I remember had much more delicate features, this one looks like a "Bertha" to me, a more 'square" type of female. Plus: Her voice is different, too.(A situation where rings could be rather helpful ... oops: I just saw in the YT chat you had the same idea!) Very interesting and unexpected view.
Edit: But I could be completely wrong regarding my estimation.

If it is they, then Perle likely is driven away to fend for him/herself. If still following parents, it is difficult to believe Perle is quiet and not in the general area.

The female wing has that white splash on the leading edge that typified Anna. But perhaps that is common to females of that age?

Is "Andris" OK?

He fell forward in a rather odd way at 15:58:53. And he has an open beak at times. It is not that warm today.
