Good day! :hi: 12:43. Arrived, looked at the sky. Perhaps flies another osprey. 12:49. Yawn and went to the right... :mrgreen:

It was calling right now - the microphone at nest site is excellent and we will have our fun with screaming Ospreys this season :mrgreen:

And cam is accessable for somebody (from Latvian ornithologists team probably) - from time to time the "REC" in the lower right corner of the pic is turning from yellow to blue - somebody is recording then.

Or like Gavril says an other bird, female then ?

belly feathers appear darker then from the Osprey from this morning

A kind of discussion around the nest is going on - one Osprey landing on the cam support, then takes off and lands on the nest, but takes off immediately again.



Bah - this VLC wrecks ones nerves :mad:

How exiting with a fellow osprey - the new one has much darker breast and "black hair", black head like "our" Blacky - who cannot have returned to Latvia yet though

Hope this couple has decided to build a home and family here. - They have, indeed, a lot of work to do on the human foundation

It will be very interesting to follow newbuilding of a nest and perhaps newbuilding of an osprey family

I find it awesome that humans can "choose" a nest place for ospreys
