It's good to see Vita & Teo through the day. Without hurry .... Thanks for that! :2thumbsup:
As much as we write and smile about Vita's dominance - it will be very helpful at some point.
I'm still very flashed about Vita's change. From screamer to tough woman. Vita has a fighting spirit.

Thanks Polly. The nest is worth it.
Thank you Olga for this wonderful video. I love this setting at 12.20. So cute. :loveshower:

Vita and Teo have found a good relationship. An ideal basis for rearing their offspring.

11:13 Vita wasn't enthusiastic.

:hi: Good morning everyone!
10:47
The wait for the eggs to hatch is not so distant. Yay! :shake:
1st egg April 24th, 2nd egg April 28th, 3rg egg
I am curious if Vita’s, 1st egg will hatch :puzzled: , it wasn’t incubated that well, in the beginning. It might hatch late and possibly near the second egg hatch day.

Day 34 since first egg was laid.

Hi Cessie!

I imagine a hole in one of the eggs.
But it's not really a hole... a reflection of light.

Tinas first egg in 2017 was laid April 27 and hatching day was June 5.
So June 2 would be comparable. Nevertheless, I hope first chick will hatch faster.

She is a little bit restless.
A bird egg cannot be compared to a baby in the stomach, but does it send movements? Loud days before hatching? Vita may feel something. :innocent:

Good morning :hi:

Check check ... it is brooding diligently. :D All eggs are still intact.

Early breakfast for Vita.
04:17 Teo brings a headless fish to his partner's bed.
Image
Vita gladly accepts it and flies it out of the nest

05:46 Teo has been in the nest so far. He is tired.
Image

All around beautiful twittering ... ... and a delicate whine from above.

There she is. :innocent:

Quiet, mutually friendly change and Teo leaves the nest.

06:45 It is just like in a fairytale forest. The cuckoo is now calling very close and in the middle of the beautiful background noise croaking frogs.

06:54 Teo is back.
Image

He brings a stick and puts it down first. Vita seems to be very happy about the change. She gets up from the eggs and leaves the nest just a minute later.

And Teo designs the nest according to his own ideas. He took the grass along yesterday.
He seems to like it.

Lunch - Check

Business as usual. :innocent:

12:42 Teo lands in the nest with a piece of bark.
12:43 Vita begins to chirp at Teo...almost inaudibly.
She should raise her voice because Teo seems to be dreaming.
Image

He woke up...
Image

...didn't get his attention at Vita.

12:47 Vita chirps more energetically, gets up and leaves the nest.

View of the eggs ...
(And Teo's hairstyle. :whistling: )

Hi Polly
thanks for your work.
Teo does his nesting work undeterred. He knows pretty well that the time will come soon - much more to do. :bounce:

Hi san b
that's nice to read, thank you!

Good evening :hi:
Unfortunately I am far too little active here but thanks anyway.

Also to the night there is no change.
As long as Vita still voluntarily leaves the nest as he did today, I do not expect a chick to hatch.
I'm sure it will take some more patience. A few days .... :shake:

22:46 Vita chirps.
Unfortunately Teo does not follow her calls.
Vita would not voluntarily leave her eggs alone. So she goes into the night without a short break.
Hm.

May 30th

Hello everybody :hi:

04:40 Vita covers the eggs and chirps softly.
Morning dew covers their feathers.
An Osprey flies from the camera... Teo. Vita looks at him irritated.
Image

05:08:11 the first challenge of the day - Vita leaves the nest in alarm. Her calls can be heard near the nest.
This allows us a look at the eggs.
Check check...all whole. All?
Image

I feel like a lot of us. With a vivid imagination, I see a hole. The colouring of the eggs makes it difficult and leaves much room for interpretation.

05:09 she lands back on the camera and returns directly to the nest.
05:35 Finally breakfast!
Teo lands in front of the camera lens and covers the view of the fish. But ... then yes.

I'm not sure. I am still missing the egg tooth in the hole.

Deli :hi:

:rotf: yes, the wind is very nasty again today.
Maybe it is a subjective feeling but in the last months the wind has increased. Not only in many nests in different regions but also at home we have more stormy phases.
I hope that the chicks (in all nests) will not fall victim to the strong wind. It would not be the first time.

There was another fish for Vita.

Here too Teo almost flew on the eggs. He crawled up the side and tried to keep balance with his wings.

I wouldn't mind if it was a false alarm. I have to go to work now and I'd hate to miss a hatching . :D

Good Morning Everyone
 Polly & Deli
7:33
Today is day 37
Vita, is settled on the eggs, right now, but she has been checking the eggs and moving around. I don’t hear any chirping, but I think that Vita, is acting like something is going on. :D
