6:33. Rewinding the camera there does appear to be a hole in one of the eggs.
I can’t confirm. I will wait for someone else to see the egg and see what they say.

Big Fish for Vita!
Teo, egg sits.
View of the eggs, but so many dark spots and not the right light to tell anything.

Cessie :hi:

I wound up late yesterday and took some pictures.
Here are two:

In the meantime, I was afraid the hole might have been inflicted from the outside. If it's a hole.

I'm too impatient ... :slap:

And this...
Simply because the moment touched me. Vita started calling in the evening sun, she called and called but Teo didn't come.

9:41 Teo brings fish, tries to fed the little one. It almost looked like Teo was showing Vita how to feed a chick.

:loveshower: :bounce:
thank you, Polly & Shanta!

Congratulations Teo & Vita!
1st chick for Vita, and finally dear Teo, has a chick again! :shake:

I could tell that something was going on earlier this morning because Vita, was doing many egg checks and she couldn’t settle down and she did not let Teo, sit on the eggs. :D

Thank you, Liz01, for the video!

:loveshower:

Congrats to Vita to your very first baby :bounce: !!

I'm quite touched, coz i'm following Vita since her first appearance on Teo's nest.
And, oh yes, congrats to dear Teo, too. All your previous efforts on young "screaming" Vita have payed out now. Your dreams came true. You deserve it so much.

What a beautiful hatch. Thank you very much, Liz, for the videos :2thumbsup:
Also very nice seeing Teo bringing the fish and (most likely) showing Vita to feed the chick. Simply lovely.

Many thanks to Polly, Deli and hellem for the constantly reporting and pictures

Looking forward to a wonderful season and a good growing up of all chicks still to hatch.

13:39 Teo brings a branch. He lands very carefully.
Nevertheless...
Image

Vita chirps. According to my translation a la Polly, it means that there is a demand for fish.
Teo can take a look at the nursery. Only then does he leave the nest.

Liz, thanks for your videos! :2thumbsup:
Videos make documentation a lot easier.

I have just taken care of this feeding but in many pictures it is very tedious.

Yes, Vita grows quickly on her task. I felt that the feeding took a positive turn when Teo left the nest.
In the meantime, Vita turned away ... As if everything was too much for her. Stress ... . ? Went to the nest's edge and kept the bite blank. When Teo was gone, Vita found the bond between herself and the chick and it was actually fed! The chick then had a few bites.

Gavril, I'm going to take a look at this situation.
Actually I was about to cook but then there was fish ...

17:42 Teo brings fish.
He has understood the signs of the times and shows that he can be a good fisherman and provider.

Here again ... There seems to be a strange blockade between Vita and Teo. Teo does not allow privacy between Vita and the chick. It does not leave the nest after delivery of the food. Vita is inhibited and he is in the way.

17:48 ... I don't like to say but finally Teo leaves the nest. Finally.
Now the feeding is going well. Unsure but good.

This wind ... Vita has to fight really hard.

The visit has delicate wings ... is it an Osprey?

When I think of the event a few days ago when a teenager tried to mate with Iiris ... :slap: :rotf:
Well, it wasn't an attacker. Not yet. Just curious. :innocent:

Thanks for your observation!

But the shiluette ... I fit. I can't say which bird it was.
Image

Vita is great. :innocent:

I observe more with feeling than with knowledge. Hopefully the wiseen will come.

20:15 Teo lands with a fish residue. Vita takes a short break ...
Image :)

Meanwhile, Teo can live out his tender father feelings. He would like to feed ... he cuts small pieces and apparently but also male Osprey from this (slimy) secretion in order to be able to give food to chicks. However - his baby is not responding.
I was scared myself.

Vita returns and takes the fish. While she gnaws a few bites herself, Teo makes a little round about his pride.
Image

Mind you - she tried to push him out of the nest beforehand. 8-)

20:22 Theo leaves the nest. Vita is now back in the bladder with her chick and is feeding.
