6:25:48 a eagle landed on the nest tree. Could be he/she was already there and only jumped from a branch to another
6:27:24 he/she sneezes

6:27 rustling (a sneeze?).


6:37 (about) i heard eagles' calls.

6:38 was the time and the bird was upstairs. there's the explanation.
a few chip's in falsetto in the middle of the call. (that is not unusual by the way. the male before Chips called this way).

6:56:07 he flew away. is visible on the left. he "fell down" behind the tree trunk. I'm not that fast at the moment. Bad pics

7:08 Mr L arrived. he brought nothing.

he is doing vigorous nest work, ploughing the bottom upside down.

this eagle doesn't look like Chips.
7:14 Mr L jumped to the left branch.

i hope that Chips will not return. that would mean trouble.

7:17:17 calls from far. i heard only one voice, a male. he was far.

8:34 a great tit visited. at last not a blue tit.
this is one tit in two frames.


he was singing.

From 19:33:38, the bird jumped around the nest.

You can see the smoke here!

the "smoke" is pollen. our tree is in bloom!
all those red things in the tips of the branches are spruce flowers.
the red tips are the "female flowers" which develop to cones. the yellow "male flowers" release pollen.
the green points in the ends of the twigs are buds which will grow length to the twig.

the little bird was too small for me. i can't say what bird it was.

At 9:11, the voice of the eagle.

this eagle was very far. it's difficult to hear but i think it was a male's voice.


10:25:27 eagle's calls from very far. (?) perhaps even two voices. the calls (if they were calls!) came from very-very far.

11:21:50 two eagles called rather near. a male and a female.
11:23:55 more calls.
11:26:30 more calls. it sounded as if they flew away while they were calling.
- if i remember right there was a question once if eagles can call and fly at the same time. yes, they can.
11:36:58 more calls. a male and a female again.

14:37 a raven flew over the meadow and landed on the top branch and shook a big cloud of pollen of the branch.




the raven called and called.... he came down and called more.

he came down and took the crow's long wing feathers. he walked around with them and called.
i wonder if he knew that they were crow's feathers or did he suspect they were raven's.


14:41 another raven flew to the top.

the first raven dug the nest.
"there has to be something here..."


both called.
then the first raven came to the front left to pose.

the raven pooped.


the second raven flew away from the top.

then first went to the top branch.


14:46 he flew away. there was still some pollen left on the branch to fly away together with the raven.

there has been a constant wrrrooom of some sort of a machine in the afternoon. it's probably a tractor. it's time of sowing.
