17:56 first a willow tit on the left branch. the back of the neck was all black with no white spot. wide white cheeks. no black collar.
Image

then a young great tit came up to the nest on the right side. a coal tit should have a black collar but this bird didn't have it. the eagles began to call at the same time.

17:56 a juvenile great tit and a juvenile blue tit. the blue tit chased the great tit away.
Image

17:57 eagles sang very near, both a male and a female.
tits roamed the nest.

too dark head? Milda? :puzzled:
edit: äsch, this was MR L.
Image

the eagle went to the left branch. small dark spots. this is not Milda... or Mr L? is it? now the ankles look thin. the tail spots look more like those of Mr L.
edit: this was Mr L. i didn't see enough when i was watching live.

he preened ...

18:39 the eagle = Mr L flew away.
Image

then a female called nearby.

this was probably Mr L and Milda was in the forest. this is the most probable answer. Mr L probably looks slightly different than earlier due to moulting (and did he look different? it's so long since we last saw him)

in retrospect their talking at 18:11 went probably like this:
"will you go and have a look at the nest?"
" uuhhh, i wouldn't like to go. why don't you go, for a change?"
...
"no. you go now."
...
" why always me?"
" go now will you. pleeease."

19:02 the pigeon sang more.
19:07 the pigeon flew away over the meadow.

19:31 the wood pigeon sang again. then some more grey heron's calls.

there was a steady noise of some machine engine in the evening till about half past 9 pm. around 10 pm the noise continued.
could it be a harvester? it is that time on the summer.
the sun has set and it's slowly becoming dark.

i have had a wonderful day after the morning no breaks in the stream. they probably at last found the piece of equipment in the antenna which was faulty. i was so lucky. in the afternoon the crowd of birds visited the nest, including Mr L. :headroll:

edit: i didn't find he spider around 11 pm. perhaps the web was swept away by Mr L's wings.

good night!

5:42 a wood pigeon flew to the spruce on the right.
5:43 another pigeon flew from the left to the spruce. he began to sing to the first pigeon.
she changed to the a lower branch.
5:45 the first pigeon flew away.
5:46 the second pigeon sang alone for a while.
5:49 he flew away and disappeared in the mist.

edit: there were three wood pigeons! i made a close-up clip and there i could see that the first pigeon (a female probably) was replaced by another female after the male came and sang to the first. after the first pigeon had flown away the male sang to the third pigeon, too. any female would do for him, but both flew away.
then the male sang alone and another male sang somewhere far.

back... :offtobed:

6:24 a wood pigeon flew to the spruce on the right. another pigeon was singing farther, "behind our backs".
6:25 another pigeon flew to the spruce top and tried to move next to the first pigeon. the first flew away.
it sounded like the first landed somewhere near us he sang a verse. then he flew back to the spruce. there pigeons had some disagreement. one of them flew away. then both sang. two competing males. 8-)

6:36 the pigeon sang more.
6:42 more.
6:44 the pigeon flew away.

i made a close-up clip of these pigeons, too.

i think they started work at "my" antenna again. the stream does not stream for me. :bash:

they didn't work long. i wonder if they'll start again later.

10:35 stop again! i was glad too early. :faint:
12:40 the stream stops in random intervals for me. it's not not-working all the time. that's better than cuts all the time.

15:58 this has been an awful day again. the stream is in short pieces. i called the service advice again. today they said that the problem is expected to be solved by Aug 2, but they also said that it's an estimate (=guesstimate!) they don't know, they just say something and the boy admitted that it might take longer. this is unbearable and non-acceptable. i'm going to get me another service provider tomorrow. it would be very unlikely that the antennae of two different service providers would be faulty at the same time.
16:03 a stop again. it works for 2 s - 5 min in one go. :bash: :banghead:
