i have often wondered how the moult feels in the skin. we humans drop hairs every day but that doesn't feel anything at all. a feather this big must feel something. maybe it's itchy and that's why she pulled the feather out.

step father = ottoisä in Finnish, (isä = father). Hubby wrote by mistake "lottoisä" which could be translated as 'lottery daddy'. Chips is a prize in lottery.


egg talk continues. i'm not sure if there are two voices.
Chips and the chick and the egg(s) were socializing for a bout 10 min.
