the dawn was cracking in the east. after a long search i found this:
6:12:40 there was some rustling.


6:32 blackbirds woke up and started talking. also a pygmy owl called.
6:34 two pygmy owls called.
after that the owl(s) called several times till 6:43. there were t least two owls.

7:09 a crow started to call a lot quite suddenly. after a little while also jays got upset and joined the chorus.


they went on calling a long time.

7:14 - 7:24 we had an eagle's visit.
this was the same eagle who visited yesterday evening. big black spots on the tail.

he moved the swinging stick to a more stable position.
i think that this eagle is a male.

7:16 the eagle jumped to the outer left branch.

the eagle looked around.... and preened...
7:24 he flew away.

this is the whole visit.

8:11:51 a crow flew from the left to the spruce on the right.
8:12:31 the crow flew from the spruce to the right. there were several birds flying around, maybe all crows. one crow came to have a look at the nest.
then to the poop branch.
8:13 the crow flew away.

9:29 voices of great tits. one of them came up onto the nest.

then also a jay shrieked nearby. then to the right branch.


the light was very difficult.

9:39 a great tit was talking nearby again. then knocking...
the light is better now. the tit is invisible still.
9:42 the great tit came up on the nest.

9:47 birds wrote Andra in the YT chat.
they were still the same birds as earlier. i think there were more than one great tit. one was on the nest many times but there were quite a lot of voices.

i'll make videos later in the afternoon, unless someone else makes them. i'm going out for the day. :wave:

the shape of the bird belonged to an eagle and the white tail was clearly visible.
the boxes are images enlarged to 300 % of the original.

13:52 a very long and thin insect walked across the lens. i think that the insect had long wings.


14:57 another insect. this was black and thick. maybe a fly, i think i saw wings on this fellow, too.
