7:12 a jay flew to a visit.
after the jay flew away a dark but not big bird flew by fast from right to left with loud wing beats.
in the third frame on the left the bird looked grey against the darkest spot in the forest. however, the bird didn't look big enough for a crow.

wow, both came home!
15:15 Mr L flew in.


he didn't bring anything.


he organized a stick which was already on the nest.

15:16 Milda flew in. she didn't bring anything either.


they made some nest work...
after that they were preening hard...

15:25 Milda sat down. Mr L preened.


15:27 Milda saw something interesting on the left. then voices of great tits.

Milda got up again. both continued preening... both seemed to have big crops.

15:39 Mr L jumped to the left branch. then back to the nest.

some "beaking"... then he jumped back to the left branch. and back to the nest. on both times he landed a little too near Milda's beak, into the danger zone.

15:46 Milda made a big PS over board. she has eaten well.


both preened. Milda preened her tail.

16:03 both looked at something in the southern sky...


that wasn't anything alarming after all. both relaxed.

16:06 Mr L jumped to the left branch.


... and back to the nest.
16:07 he pooped in the same toilet as Milda.

16:10 Mr L jumped to the left branch.


16:11 Milda shook her feathers.

16:14 Milda lay down on the nest.


16:18 Mr L preened... then he tried to scratch his ear. both looked at each other.

16:24 Milda got up to look under her: no egg.
she lay back down.

16:29 a jay flew somewhere near and called. Milda tried to see where the jay was... i don't think she saw the jay.

16:31 Milda reached for the tail of Mr L and nearly pulled a feather.


16:32 the jay flew away. Mr L turned and then Milda pulled his tail.
Mr L jumped to the nest.

i have long hoped that the Dabasdati people would give him a name. however, i 'm afraid that we'll have to wait a long time still...

Milda jumped back down and almost hit Mr L, but not seriously.

16:54 Milda flew out.


Mr L thought for a few seconds what to do. ... he lifted a stick to another place.

17:10 Mr L shook his feathers. then he moved a stick.


17:34 Mr L made some eagle yoga.
17:37 he lay down. he has no intention to leave.
17:38 he got up again. maybe he'll leave... or not.

17:47 Mr L pooped zhiuuu!
well overboard. good boy.


then he began to preen. he is in no hurry.

... but it will be my feeding time soon.

18:25 Mr L stretched his wings and went to dig the nest.
