both came home.

did someone call outside the nest?

yes, again: some other eagle called outside. both listened to the voice. they don't look worried.

8:45 the eagle call again outside the nest
8:47 Vents jumps on the left branch

Vents is making a lot of noise out there. he is perhaps cutting a twig out of the right branch.


the singing sounded a bit strange before they came. maybe they were calling at the stranger?

the sky is becoming clear from the South.

i took pictures of their arrival. Vents didn't bring anything.


Shilute had just a little twig in her beak.

9:32 this time the stranger called for a longer time and it sounded almost like crying. poor girl indeed. she has no business coming to the nest while Shilute is there. (i guess that Shilute was there still)

it was a big branch. she breathed heavily after dragging it to the nest.

no other owl seems to fit but it is strange for a tawny owl, too.
