good morning!
it is still quite dark. the wind sounds very hard again. it's so loud that one cannot hear the water streaming downstairs.

a minute later i think i can see the skyline becoming visible, as well as the silhouette of the tree.

Did our couple enjoy their Christmas food? Why so early ?

is it Vents upstairs ans Shilute on the nest? i saw one ring of the eagle who is on the nest but it's too early for colours yet.

thank you eagles! now i could see the shiny white on Vents' leg uptairs and the red on Shilute's in the nest.


red is not very clear on this snapshot. i was a bit too slow with my clicky-finger.

Without colors I'm sure you are right... Our lazy friend is a good observer while others are working...

Vents came first. it was quite too dark to see if he brought anything (but knowing Vents i don't think he did. )

12:31:59 A Raven flew from the top in an arc and lands on the left branch.
then it flew on the poop branch and was sitting there for a while.

12:35:40 it makes funny noise and flew away

Nope! finally it flew 12:37 away

i happened to spot a raven earlier this morning before i left.
10:07 a raven flew to the top of the tree and there called for some time before it flew back to the direction of the pond.


12:32 the stream was very choppy (at least the video which was recorded in my pc was very stop & go).
the raven's funny voice is fortunately there.

the camera has not started yet. i sent a message to brachux about it although it's so dark there still that nothing could be seen...

now there's already some light in the sky. the wind sounds hard. it's coming from behind the camera from the North-West. the camera tilts down and the sky almost disappears at times.

i think i see some raindrops ... or snowflakes?

edit: the rest of the day was very windy. at times it rained. no-one was seen nor heard (not even a nutcracker )

good morning!
this morning the camera started on time. it's quite dark and the wind sounds still very hard. a male tawny owl calls somewhere rather near.
