Re: Latvian WtE nest webcamera Juras-erglis Durbe 2020
Good afternoon!
Whose voice is at 10:31?
Whose voice since 10:34? It looks like an Eaglet, but not quite.

10:31 the bird sounded like a buzzard like Liz wrote. the voices also seemed to come from the sky from different places. that matches with a real buzzard. a fake buzzard = jay calls in one place in some tree.
10:34 i can't say whose voice that was. it didn't sound quite right for an eaglet. they usually call in faster rhythm, more intensively. this bird sounded lazy. i think that both voices belonged to the same bird.

good morning!
what a beautiful weather (but bad light for the camera at the moment).
the camera worked till 5:08 in the darkness.
7:03:16 the camera restarted. the lens was quite covered with condensed fog droplets.
by 7:05 the camera had warmed up and the water had evaporated away and lens had become clear. a roe buck barked in the forest a few times.
7:18 the Sun began to rise.
Andra wrote yesterday evening (21:02) in the YT chat that the Wolpertinger was a fox.
"19:34 es teiktu ka tā ir lapsas balss! smilkstoša.."
so your picture of the creature is probably closer to the animal.

7:28 a pygmy owl called. after that the swans but they were so far that they were almost inaudible.
7:33 cranes called. they were somewhat closer.
7:57 the swans voices could be heard better.
"why is it so quiet here?" asked hubby when he came to see.
"isn't that one screaming on the top?".
