9:22 a bird flew over and by. Milda looked at it.
Image

the bird was probably 'only' a woodpecker because there were sounds like from woodpecker's wings.

i happened to find these voices last night at
4:05 - 07. it sounded like a smallish mammal. raccoon dog came to my mind first but on the second thought it wasn't that.
what animal was this? a fox? foxes have a lot of different voices... :puzzled:

the ravens entertained Raimis for a bout 4 min.

13:26 Raimis yawned.

13:37 Raimis jumped to the left branch.
... and to the outer left branch. and to the top branch.

13:38 he flew out over the meadow and disappeared from my sight near the swan pond.

Good evening! Everyone Happy New Year!
I found some birds yesterday at 11:13, 11:19. I also shifted the sound track by 3 seconds, as yesterday the sound did not match the image. 11:11 https://youtu.be/qZ4cTXi2sPg

Still found crossbills. 11:44 https://youtu.be/mN4YNHLhtdA

Video of woodpecker with approach and corrected sound.
12:28

Today's visits.

i don't think that the eagle had a ring. the ankle looks bare to me.
the outer edges of the tail feathers are still black.
Image

the ankle is so slim that i guess that this was a male.

it's funny how in different pictures the tail can look quite different.
first it's almost white, then quite dark, depending on the angle of viewing. usually the tail looks rather white when seen from the underside, even the eaglets' tails.
Image

from a greater distance and from above the tail looks very white. this eagle's beak was rather yellow, too.
Image

btw: none of the loose sticks has dropped. the "praying mantis" is hanging on the right side and the T which Raimis brought yesterday is locked in its place by the big branch on the front rim. :D

13:51 Raimis rubbed his bottom against the nest. then Milda arrived. she seemed to have clutched her left claws into a ball but i could not see if she brought something. anyway it was very small.
Image

13:54 Raimis jumped hop-hop-hop to the top branch.
13:56 Raimis flew out to the left.
