The woods are lovely, dark, and deep,
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep.

And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep.

Lonely juvie at the beach..
I viewed him near an hour, be he only moved his head...
Maybe he thought: "Water, only water..."

I love the photo of the nest, I am worried about Piret because the map keeps showing right over top a road in Africa, I hope she is okay.

I’m worried too and I hope that nothing bad happened to “our” so lovable Piret, und that it is only a question of GSM network.

While waiting for the next nesting season I´ve been snooping around the American Bald Eagle nests (because they are doing some nestorations already). I´ve also watched some nice videos from YouTube. One of my new favourite channels is "pla1554alaska's". Bald eagles are visiting in her porch and they get along nicely with her cats (and sometimes there is a fox too). She said I can share her videos with other eagle-lovers. So I must put a few here.
This would be my "dream porch".

The eagle and the cat, I think somewhere deep down in For Fun they are there already ... I still would be afraid my cat would end as eagle food!

The Osprey, Ilze, from Latvia, has apparently perished. Look at info on the bird map.

I agree R.I.P such beautiful birds I so wish they did not have to migrate so far, but this is what they do. I hope that Piret's tracking device is just not giving signal and that she is okay. So wish we could check on her. I will worry till she returns hopefully to the same nest. Praying for you Piret you were such a great mom.

What a pity about this beautiful bird.

It's really time now to receive some good news.
One dares hardly to have a look at the map.
