Oh dear, the second egg ... and with a big time gap!

Two eggs :slap:

Still, I suppose it gives the best chance for one to survive past the very young and most vulnerable age.

I just can't watch. :faint:

Good day :hi:

Sad news for us all... Uģis Bergmanis, who is monitoring the nest on spot, this morning has written sms for our forumers - looks like both eagles are going to leave the nest due to the lack of food....

I am so pitty...

This is perhaps the explanation for the many calls between female and male...

It's too sad.
No breeding LSE-cam this year?

Thanks for the information and Uģis Bergmanis for monitoring of the nest.

Oh no! So sad!
What is the reason for lack of food?
These poor eagles have such a hard time reproducing successfully. And they are so beautiful. Is there anything we can do to help?
Thank you to the monitors for watching and letting us know.

This is probably not a particularly good year for Lesser Spotted Eagle . It needs moist meadows. Too dry this year , so there are not enough amphibians.
In Germany , Brandenburg land is purchased for the lesser spotted eagle . The farmers have been working too hard , so there is no place and feeding ground for these beautiful and rare animals. I do what I can to support the.

Stupid question but I still ask it: if both eagles have already left the nest can these eggs be taken away by ppl and incubated artificially?

Very sad news, and it´s sad to see the empty nest with the two eggs  lianaliesma, Thank you for the information.

Can it be the same in Estonia, and that is why Eha and Koit have decided not to breed this year, and that Tuuli´s nest is empty
