Resa - I am giving up for tonight ... Frieda is sitting and sitting But I saw Archimedes visiting her in the nestbox!

Haha Bea I gave up at about the same time! I have to figure out at about what time she gets out in the evening, I think it might be a bit earlier... she is to good! And I haven't seen the eggs since Friday night!

This pair which we see in the Tawny Owl nest box are an early birds. Usually our Tawny and Ural Owls start to lay eggs in the end of March.

Thank you for the information vainamoinen! I have in my head that they also started quite early the last two years, but I have to go back to the threads and check...
2014: first egg on 11th March, 2015: first egg 4th March and this year 9th March!
