what a beautiful couple, especially the dark-eyed girl! :headroll:
i'll quote Biker's picture to illustrate the beauty of the eyes.

too bad, that she is apparently too young to breed. :slap:

that does not, however, decrease the attractiveness of this couple, at least not in my mind. this is a splendid opportunity to observe how an engaged young couple behaves and how their relationship evolves. that has been very interesting for me at the J-E nest.
those of us who have observed many breeding seasons of different eagle species already know how the events evolve when the chicks grow up to eaglets who then leave the nest. here we can watch something new! :2thumbsup:
(on the condition that the couple keeps coming here, of course).

Why is there still no topic for the Latvian Golden Eagle? It is now hidden in a sub-sub thread:
Latvian Nature Cameras/Other Wildlife cameras in Latvia/Different other nest cameras 2016-2017...
Posts are difficult to find between all the other posts about 'different other' nests.
Ame wrote he will have a topic when he starts breeding. Why? The Estonian Golden Eagle has visited the nest only a few times and they even have their own forum. Let alone the all the Lesser spotted eagle nest cams that have their own topic (or thread, I don't know what to call them).
Or is it expensive to make a new topic?
This eagle is -and has been- a regular visitor for the last two years and he even has a girlfiend who comes regularly. It would be so good to have more people watching and writing like on Dabasdati forum.

Beautiful birds, great camera  Ugis almost had his fingers frozen off to install a new camera...

Hi, everyone!
Hi, Marfo and Sonchik:
We were stimulated and asked continue to report from here. it is interesting to watch this nest although the GE don't breed.
but the reason why they don't get a own topic is because they don't breed.
I will continue to watch the nest and listen, because it is interesting.
and i will peek in here, from time to time.

Marfo :hi:
as far as i understand no eagles have started breeding here yet. we have only seen some visits of different birds as far as i have understood. breeding would mean nest building and egg laying and so forth.
i don't find it difficult to find news about this nest here. this nest seems to be the only nest which has had reports recently. it is almost a topic for this nest as it is. the title could be modified though from "2017" to "2019". :whistling:
(i'll see if i can fix that... no, i can't do it.)

to wait for breeding was not only my decision, but the whole team decided this. i haven't been involved in the starting of the other topic that you referred to.

My approval biker.
Nothing happened longer and the camera was too loud for me to watch the nest permanently.
Since a few days I noticed that the nest seemed very tidy and prepared. That's why I played back the time today and looked...something must have happened. :whistling:

So I finally discovered the Golden Eagle today!

I'm gonna be checking back in more regularly from now on.
