good morning!

it's raining rather hard but it's not as windy as yesterday. that is a relief.
Nordri, what city is that? aha, i see Khabarovsk.

Sonchik, i have thought that those sticks are branches and part of the tree. that is why they are staying but i don't know... :puzzled:
there is also one stick on the trunk on the left where the trunk curves up. that belongs to the tree.

Sonchik wrote: September 10th, 2019, 11:11 pm I've had a lot of other things to do in recent days and I'm watching the stream late for half the day. Now I only checked until 12:50.
I used to listen with a volume of 60-80%, now I've reduced the volume to 19% and it's still very loud. Watching is almost useless. The effect is the same as last year when there was no microphone. Image Image

Until next summer the winds will be almost every day. It 's terrible!
Janis knows?

thank you for your observations!
i made clips of these voices and added them starting here:
viewtopic.php?p=692985#p692985

it is not necessary to listen now when the sound is so terrible. spare your ears! i'm worried that you'll get sick if you keep listening that roar of wind for a longer time. it makes me dizzy. Image

i mailed Janis about our little vandal. he replied that the camera will need to be replaced by a new one next winter. then it would be time to get a new microphone, too. however, he wrote that first we need to know if the eagles will build their nest here or somewhere else. nothing will be decided before we know this.

i had quite forgotten this possibility. it is not certain that Milda and Raimis will return here. :slap:
fingers crossed and thumbs up that they'll return. :2thumbsup:

13:33: about 30 i perhaps heard something. ...or my ears are ringing by themselves. :slap:
no, this was real! first a parent flew tot he left, then eaglet(s) cried. :D
Image

i think that was very likely a fish delivery.

13:52:02 i'm pretty sure that i heard a call, an eaglet's voice. ... now afterwards i'm not quite sure of this..? :puzzled:

14:28:10 an eagle flew by over the nest tree from behind our backs to the direction of the swan pond, then curved to the left.
it was one of the eaglets. :D

edit: mega2 noticed that one of the top branches on the left side shook at 14:22 and there was a crashing sound at the same time.
with this wind today the branches high on the right side have been seen many times, but the branches on the left side have stayed invisible. therefore it is very possible that the eaglet landed on that branch then. well done, mega2! :2thumbsup:
