indeed there are already recordings of songs and calls of Black Grouse (Tetrao tetrix) "Rubenis" posted here. But as far as i know there is no picture of an exemplar taken via this cam.

I read that they are live in the low mountain range.

I don't think they will ever 'marry'. This has been going on for months now...she want's him so badly but he really doesn't like her

Good morning!

Virsis arrived at 8:19. Female joined him at 8:21, Virsis leaves a little later. Both calling.
Female flies to branch at 8:24 and returns to the nest a while later.
They come and go.
Virsis still doesn't like her 'kisses'. It seems she follows him around and he is not very fond of her. But who knows, with so little females around he may have no choice.

The eagle was calling all time and jumped on the right. It is a immature eagle.
