We assumed Virsis didn't see his partner in Splive. He hardly showed any real interest.

Could it have changed?
If so, I hope they don't care for and visit this nest as an apparent nest. Golden eagles can have many nests.

I have never seen one 'in person' only on the Looduskalender and Latvian camera's. I love his melancholy song.
I see the green woodpecker (picus viridis) sometimes and wonder why he is always laughing at me...
