JAN. 3.

Thank you Liz01, and Happy New Year to you, too.

12.11 An adult eagle passing from right. It looks like it tried to stop and land.
But the wind was too hard and it went on in the air. Maybe blue rings on this eagle - Baron

Stormy weather. Baron seeks shelter in trees from the storm. It does not like to rest on the cliffs in this weather. NF follows.

It has been stormy weather the last days and no eagles have been heard or seen, but

09.13 Both eagles call together or sing a short song. NF starts.
09.22 NH calls again short.

Baron is just waiting in patience for NH to get ready to breed. This year or next year.

12.02 Short calls from a male eagle.
14.36 Rather long call from Baron after some gull and crow calls.

SB stream comment: GT -
I have been out on the island today. Drove a boat from Kristiansund to Smøla. The first day (it) was allowed (possible) for the trip. Probably lightning strike that has taken the Quadcam. Have unplugged it and brought the unit home for repair. Talk on the phone so that was probably the voice you heard. :-)
SB stream comment: GT
The island of Baron Blue on the right. I also saw Baron Blue put (stay) together with another eagle, but fortunately a distance away from the island. They didn't see me going ashore.
Image

12.08 All we saw on camera was some stern waves - and steps and mobil talk under the nest was heard:

No eagles seen or heard today.
Streambird was at the nest again today and installed the repaired technick, dammaged by the lightning some 14 days ago.
Several of the "smaller" cameras are up and running.
Eagle viewers in Norway - friends of the twig pile - spent some money for flowers to the Streambird team, for their work.
