Do you happen to know who made the left upper corner foggy, we don't have chicks yet? :puzzled:
:hi:

I don't see any mist on the view :puzzled:

Thank you, Owlie, for responding. It was more than two hours ago and I was told that a moth or some other insect flew probably onto the lens, it became less and less and now it's almost gone. Thank you also for the link concerning the ospreys.

Thank you all for the reports and comments! Great to see another osprey flying by, who was also ringed in Estonia, as it seems!
If Ivo went into submissive, non-aggressive pose, it must have been a female, indeed.

Blue sky, no wind. I'm always overwhelmed by the wonderful voices of the different bird species. Ivo and Iiris in the nest. In the meantime, they have barricaded the nest with so many branches that you may have trouble seeing the eggs.
Ivo came back to the nest in riot, an intruder circles very close over the nest and Iiris and Ivo are showing this bird that this is their territory.

Good morning everyone :hi:

Sunshine, thank you for the beautiful sunset pictures with Iiris and Ivo
Jenny, thank you for documenting the strange osprey
The osprey flew over very close to the nest and at this moment 08:37 the stream went off again. On such a sunny windless morning! :puzzled:

good afternoon. It’s strange that I can’t find anything in Google about an osprey with a blue ZK ring. that is, if a simple person sees her, he will not be able to inform interested parties about it. why ring if there is nowhere to report?

Hi zuza,

every (?) or most countries have national Bird Ringing Centers with databases about the rings that ornithologists put on birds and where background infos about the specific birds are recorded. So when you see a bird with rings and you have identified the ring code, you can send a report to a Ringing Center and request for further informations.

Not every database is accessible for the public, not even in the times of google :book:

Seira, thank you for the pictures.
Today it seems to be a day of bringing tiny things on the nest.
On a hot day like this it's difficult to carry heavy sticks and whole fish.

Off topic and maybe unimportant, but
I understand that the emoji :hi: means "Hi". But does the emoji  mean "bye-bye"? How do you use the hand waving emojis? So how should we read them? :puzzled:

A hand waving most commonly used to say “hello” or “goodbye”.

18:21 Ivo brings a stick so that Iiris after having sat on the eggs for quite a long time could go self-feeding.
