Thank you, Owlie, for responding. It was more than two hours ago and I was told that a moth or some other insect flew probably onto the lens, it became less and less and now it's almost gone. Thank you also for the link concerning the ospreys.

Thank you all for the reports and comments! Great to see another osprey flying by, who was also ringed in Estonia, as it seems!
If Ivo went into submissive, non-aggressive pose, it must have been a female, indeed.

May 23, 2020 - around 08.30 AM Estonia time
Blue sky, no wind. I'm always overwhelmed by the wonderful voices of the different bird species. Ivo and Iiris in the nest. In the meantime, they have barricaded the nest with so many branches that you may have trouble seeing the eggs.
Ivo came back to the nest in riot, an intruder circles very close over the nest and Iiris and Ivo are showing this bird that this is their territory.

every (?) or most countries have national Bird Ringing Centers with databases about the rings that ornithologists put on birds and where background infos about the specific birds are recorded. So when you see a bird with rings and you have identified the ring code, you can send a report to a Ringing Center and request for further informations.

Not every database is accessible for the public, not even in the times of google
