The storklet was only 12 hours old and for such an age its behaviour is normal. Probably it wasn't hungry yet. But yes, so big siblings wouldn't have give it a chance to eat normally(Tiit's case when he brought huge fish and all the four pecked it is an exception, there is no such fish even in Makov!)

The storklet was only 12 hours old and for such an age its behaviour is normal. Probably it wasn't hungry yet. From the video it is seen that the chick fell on its back, it is the sign of utmost weakness. Maybe the hatching process lasted too long.

(that same happened in one HU Rescue Station few days ago - simply they are also hatch-weak storklets from some reason)
