thank you Sonchik for finding this.
i'll quote Vērotāja's post here and add GT-translations
Vērotāja wrote: May 23rd, 2020, 12:54 am Saskaitītas pārtikas piegādes no 1. līdz 5. ligzdošanas nedēļai un salīdzinātas ar pagājušo gadu.
(2020.gadā 18.04 - 22.05; 2019.gadā 17.04 - 21.05)

Pirmajās 35 ligzdošanas dienās ir piegādātas 135 pārtikas vienības (pērn 97)
no tām:
130 piegādāja Raimis (pērn 90)
5 piegādāja Milda (pērn 7)

Struktūru par dienām var redzēt šajā tabulā:

Food deliveries for the 1st to the 5th nesting week were counted and compared to the previous year.
(18.04 - 22.05 in 2020; 17.04 - 21.05 in 2019)

135 food items delivered in the first 35 nesting days (last year 97)
of which:
130 delivered by Raimis (last year 90)
5 delivered by Milda (7 last year)

The structure for the days can be seen in the following table:

Image

Šajā gadā piegādes ir palielinājušās par 39%.
Tabulā pa nedēļām var redzēt, ka barības samazinājums šogad bija tikai 4.nedēļā, tomēr piegādātās 28 pārtikas vienības ir vairāk, nekā jebkurā no ligzdošanas nedēļām pagājušā gadā.

Tabulā redzams arī vidējais pārtikas piegāžu daudzums dienā.

Deliveries have increased by 39% this year.
The table by week shows that the reduction in feed this year was only in week 4, however, the 28 food units delivered are more than in any of the nesting weeks last year.

The table also shows the average amount of food delivered per day.

Image

However, calculating the average amount of food per baby per day, this year it was 1.21 (while they were in threes), up from 1.39 last year.
Although, this indicator is not really objective, because the size of the fish is not the same. Something was eaten by the parents while feeding and something was buried in the nest. But it is useful as a comparative indicator that only 87% of last year's amount was fed per baby. This explains to some extent what happened in the nest.

An interesting detail, probably Raimis tastes carp better, because they were usually eaten. I did not immediately start writing whether the fish was whole or eaten, but I did not find in the notes that the pike was eaten.
it seems that Raimis increased his efforts but not enough to cover the needs of three chicks. the bad fishing luck during one week was fatal.
thank you Vērotāja! :2thumbsup:

15:09:44 eagle's voice. Milda? or Raimis? he was here last and Milda was nowhere near. i think it had to be Raimis.

15:13:28 (about) more calls. the eaglets were looking at something. a jay was calling nearby.

Seconda has a white small patch on the front of the head. Primo has a few white streaks there instead.

Primo has still more white feathers on the back of the head (but not for long, I expect).

Edit: Thanks for the statistics, Vērotāja/ame/Sonchik!

Sonchik found later how Raimis flew from the meadow. i'll keep the pictures here although there will be too many pictures sorry!
the pictures will help to see Raimis (if your eyes are good enough. mine quite aren't)
