June 21 one storklet (maybe the middle) killed by goshawk attack

26.06 - 5:53, 7:57, 10:13, 14:48, 16:11
27.06 - 18:19 (male) (before midday stream interrupted very often)
28.06 - 7:38 (male), 7:47 (female) , 11:58 (female), 19:01 (male)
29.06 - 7:51 (female), 9:03 (male) edit and 16:29 (male), 16:52 (female)

Hmmm, again a lot of rain at the storklets in PL, Lodz - Dab2 :rolleyes:
It's good for the forest, but for the storklets ???
I hope we must not worry for the younger one :unsure:

Thank you. If i understood well, there were 4 feedings, 2 by male and 2 by female, that sounds good, especially with this heavy rain :2thumbsup:

The weather forecast, which Solo posted, showed that next days will be dry and sunny, hopefully.

8:17 - butterfly visit. The little ones are interested; 8:53:56 - visit of the hawk (flying over the nest, storklet alert); 11:35:15 - visit of the blackbird? chicks interested; 16:04:39 - unsuccessful hawk attack (flies low over the nest), little ones bravely defend. This hawk from 16:04:39 was in sight of the little ones until 16:06:59. Then hawk flew away, and the little ones calmed down.

PL Notecka forest:

11.30 a BS came to a branch on the right below the nest, it doesn't look like it is a parent.
The storklets behave again not like begging for food, rather complaining. Is it a visitor ? it seems so.

no rain -- no food ?? :puzzled:

the storklets were patiently waiting for food, suddenly they had to defend themselves again

the Goshawk attacks, flies again low over the nest, the storklets were just able to duck deep enough :shock:
