February 24th

Good Morning! :hi:

Our birds are already in a good mood.

07:34:05 A crow approaches, the grumbling of another can quickly be heard.
07:34:09 they pass the tree (the probably Goshawk over the tree, a crow flies past it to the left) and to me it looks like they are following a goshawk.

Unfortunately no better picture. But if I'm not mistaken, the tail is nicely fanned out and straight, not rounded.

07:34:36 Crow flies off into the factory premises.

Have a wonderful day everyone! :innocent:

... I have reserved this part for the topic of pairing. I have 09:12:28 pairing with? written down.
No, it wasn't a pairing. Here is the typical seagull sound.
It always makes me a little nervous, but it's similar.
Today:

Here is a recording from our member @Fleur:

(Thank you! :innocent: )

So I hope we will hear it soon. :D

Two! :loveshower:

Moment ...

from 12:36:20 Short calls (contact calls?) adult
from 12:37:10 The 2nd Goshawk can be heard well.

I got the impression that a goshawk used two different calls.
(Definitely two goshawks  )

I recommend extremely clean ears or headphones at the loudest strength. :)

They sound like they're moving. The volume changes.
At least until 12:38:21, rather longer

I'm still checking.

from 12:41:21 The Jay is in a bad mood.

Meanwhile, a great tit is playing with nest material in the Goshawks' nest.

Our pretty ones create me today ...

13:24:27 adult voice
13: 24: 46/47 'leaning'
13:29:36 adult voice

I carry the box around my household on the go. Free day and I had big plans ... :whistling:

Well, nice to hear our goshawks so actively today.
There have been several calls in the past few minutes but I haven't rewound all of them.

I am a little worried that everything often happens at a great distance. I very much hope that there won't be another attractive, vacant Horst. ??? Please not that ...

13: 39: 01/12 short calls
14:14:16 begging call
14:14:20 adult

Yeaah ... they're still there. A date together in the nest would be nice.

I wonder who we are listening to ... Boka and Luijs or a new rapprochement from another couple?
If someone has contacts - it would be nice to know if Boka and Luijs are okay. The ornithologists on site will definitely know.

14:49:06 Landing on the higher left branch.
I only saw feathers ... a magpie?

For Goshawk, I'm missing the rear part, which looks like a feather mop.

15:12:08 Begging call (distance)
15:16:06 - 13, '23 too (shorter distance)

15:19:10 adult

... I think I'll stay logged in today ... :slap:  :D

15:40:25 -30
15:41:21 -30

Accompanied by howling gulls.

Ps: I am currently updating some posts with videos.

I guess no more will happen here today. I'm now looking a bit relaxed and wish everyone a nice evening! :innocent:

February 25th

Good Morning :hi:

The day begins with a fly-through visit by a goshawk

07:30:21 He approaches from the right and flies into the upper branches of the nest tree. I can't tell if it's landing or flying through.

slower

07:30:23 -31 The Goshawk is calling

08: 10: 08/09 Short call quiet or at a greater distance

08:18:01 - 04 Goshawk is calling very far away

08:20:47 Crows and Jay are nervous

08:43:05 Jay lands on the upper left branch. He calls softly to himself. :innocent:

08:45:32 According to the color of the wings, it is Jay who leaves the nest tree in the direction of the factory premises.

08:47:40 The next visitor is already there. A blackbird scurries through the nest.

Image

Image

08:56/57 It's loud right now. Many birds can be heard and the dog in the neighborhood also joins in.

08:58:26 Aha, now also a great tit in the abandoned nest.

09:25:20 The crows start to get angry.

A bird detaches itself from the branches of the nest tree .... my God, it has been there the whole time !! :loveshower:
I didn't notice him!

Well hidden from us behind the trunk.

slower

(Adult dress?)

09:25:24 - 30 Goshawk calling

Incidentally, I once read that Goshawks usually sit close to the trunk.

10:20:00 - 10:20:02 Thick air in the area. :whistling:
Mainly this time magpies, which are probably different requests from one another.

11: 02: 09/10 Goshawk calls
Clear, beautiful call from close by :innocent: I think it is possible that the Goshawk was sitting in the tree.

11:04:21 Angry crows start calling
11.06: 20 still.

A minder has been there since the beginning.

Image

He doesn't leave the tree until 11:11 and follows another bird.

11:25:44 Goshawk calls continuously. Coming closer ...

:banghead: ...the machine.
I was shocked.

11:26:11 Young voice close
The machine starts up pretty safely.

Definitely two goshawks!
Youthful voice close, while the adult voice came closer
11:26:30 youthful voice
11:26:41 Short call

The End ...

Either another voice ... a Goshawk with a different sound (voice color)? Or it just happens differently.

12:08:38 - 12:09:00
12:09:47 - 55
12:10:02, '20, '27

I suspect it ... the lovebirds come to the nest - tomorrow or the day after when I have to work. :rotf:

I never expected these silent animals to be heard so often. I wouldn't have expected that even in the active courtship season. I am fascinated .... .

The calls go on, better - they don't stop today:

12:27:21 - 31 Coming closer or is it two?

Unfortunately the stream jumps. It wasn't this morning.
