Sonchik, I understand you very well. When I first read it, by ame and Janis K, I cried. That is not a solution either. It helped me through the initial shock. I was really shocked. I just didn't expect anything to happen to these two strong eagles. That wasn't very wise of me. Something can always happen ...

And of course, everyone tries to deal with the situation in their own way. I've had the experience that in the end it's easier to accept things that I can't change. It was a long way to get to grips with that. We always want to be in control ... but we don't!

16:04 Milda jumped to the top branch and chased the stranger away.
they have astonishingly similar tail patterns. :slap:
this is Milda's tail and below
( https://www.looduskalender.ee/forum/vie ... 54#p785154 )
you can see the strange female's tail. - Milda's tail was a mess, feathers in disorder.
edit: this stranger was a male.

16:51 the stranger made a blitz attack on the nest. she dropped down from above.
edit: he. small spots like in Milda's tail but the borderline between the back and tail is broken, not smooth like Milda's.
no ring.

this was the strange female. Milda hit her with her beak and made her leave.
edit: the stranger was a male.

Milda is amazing. She's (seems) still so relaxed despite everything. And even though she has three eggs between her feet she still managed to show that stranger the door in no time when attacked on the nest without any egg suffering so much as the slightest crack. It shows her excellent balance and her great strength even after three days without nourishment. The stranger must be quite frustrated.
