When Karl's and Kaia's nest goes dark, I watch one in the Czech Republic... She has 5 eggs. My question if feeding is good there, will they raise all 5 if they survive? I have seen the 4 eggs and think they have had to eliminate one.
I got curious, how long can the eggs be uncovered by one the parents before they come to harm?

If you mean black Tonik and Tonichka from Makov, I assume elimination will be prevented and all the five storklets will be raised unless they are sick. The fourth and the fifth storklets will be taken from the nest in day time, fed separately and returned at nights, and it will be lasted for two weeks. Do you hear these sounds at 14:26, 14:27 and 14:30? Like someone knocks on the trees, partly very loud. A knocking like with a hammer, human made. It's irregular, it's certainly not coming from a Woodpecker.
But Karl II is not worried.

It's nice to see Kaia * grown * up. If there is enough food, it will be a wonderful season.
A note on the side; it would be nice if Kaia got a transmitter too.
