Silver Boy?? why to make up new names?? :puzzled:
i remember how people in the YT chat protested against many names. the next day they started making up more names. one "name" is enough.
otherwise we shall not soon know who we are talking about. :faint:
...

Sonchik, who is Silver Boy?
... or actually: why? :puzzled:
I really liked these names for the eagles:
Ajeta wrote: May 3rd, 2021, 10:09 pm ... Mr Gold and Mr Silver (those are the latest names I made up for personal use, Mr Gold being Mr C, of course, with his golden glowing eyes).
...
At that time, I called the current male Big Boy. I combined these names and from that moment on I call him the Silver Boy (this is already the second week). He really has a silver head color.
There can't be one name until there is an official name. So far, the eagle is doomed to have different names on different forums and in different communities. On the Latvian forum, mega2 calls him Mr. K. Vērotāja calls the eagles SE1... SE5.
That's why I don't understand these superstitions. They are afraid to give the eagle a name, because the eagles disappeared after the name. You'd think the name was to blame. Or are there not enough names and not enough for everyone? Yes, the Golden Boy has disappeared, but everyone now remembers him under their own invented name and in a year we will not understand each other when we remember him.
It would have been better if he had been given an official name, wouldn't it?

this is the long version of all his stay after arrival.

While Mr L's stay there was a "meeting" of two wood pigeons (and presumably also one little bird ?) on the high spruce on the right. It starts at
6.48.54 when the first birdie flies to the spruce
6.48.58 a second bird comes flying and sits down a bit lower than the first
6.49.11 this one flies up to the other on the higher branch
6.49.28 a third one (a wood pigeon) comes flying from the right, too, to the spruce

6.50.14 one wood pigeon flies off to the left
6.50.16 the other wood pigeon (who came last) follows him to the left
and Mr L was tracking them :D
6.55.15 Mr L is tracking again, when one wood pigeon is flying from the left back to the spruce on the right

16.08.07 noise of a "plopp", a stick must have dropped down near the microphone

thank you Sonchik!
the wind was very noisy and the voices hard to find.
i think that this was a female voice rather than a male.

balistar, how are you taking your pictures? and how are you trying to capture your time stamps?

maybe we could continue help in the questions department?
there is something about making pictures here:
https://www.looduskalender.ee/forum/vie ... &t=732#top

and something more here:
