11:22 a great tit was singing a little unusual song and visited the right branch.

11:56 to me this sounded more like a grey-headed woodpecker rather than a hawk. :puzzled:
... but i didn't find a voice sample for comparison. however, sparrowhawk's voices seemed have higher pitch.

12:37 the pygmy owl called again!

14:14 a nuthatch called loud nearby... i wonder do they have any voices that are not loud.
14:15 the nuthatch landed on the right branch with the head down.

then the nuthatch flew downstairs and talked there for some time.

Sep 16

good morning!

00:34 an animal called very far with a low-pitch bellowing voice. it was probably a red deer stag. then someone rustled at the nest. that sounded almost like running. it would be so interesting to find out who or what makes these sounds.
00:41 and 00:42 more bellowing.
01:04 rustling again.
01:05 more bellowing. the animal was far but there was almost no wind.

later it became windy and impossible to hear such distant voices.

9:08 a raven or actually there were two. the other landed on the top and called there. the raven on the nest took a stick from left and for a moment i thought that he/she would throw it out. instead he/she put the stick on the right side of the nest.
9:09 the raven from the top flew away and called. the raven on the nest hurried to follow the first raven.

17:24 i heard something.... a flock of wood pigeons flew by and around. some of them flew to the spruce on the right and at least two flew to our tree top. then suddenly they flew out and: Mr L landed! no wonder that the pigeons flew away. :rotf:
edit: Sonchik noticed that a big bird flew over the meadow at 17:24:15
the colours looked mostly like those of a crow but crows don't have white tails.
i made an enlargement of the image in the pink ellipse (third from the right). it looks very much like an eagle. the bird flew to the left over the swan pond.
Image

Mr L landed about 3 s after the other big bird had vanished out of sight. scared wood pigeons flew away.
Image

Image

Mr L looked at the pigeons fly away. he seemed to be annoyed.
edit: or interested in some way anyway.

17:25 he arranged sticks.
Image

... and looked at where the pigeons had flown to.
edit: and the other big bird flew that way, too! :whistling:
