btw: he didn't bring anything. thsi could also be his normal check-out visit.

13:04 an eagle fly by. Baiba in the YT chat reported this. thank you!
the shape of the bird belonged to an eagle and the white tail was clearly visible.
the boxes are images enlarged to 300 % of the original.

13:52 a very long and thin insect walked across the lens. i think that the insect had long wings.


14:57 another insect. this was black and thick. maybe a fly, i think i saw wings on this fellow, too.

18:23 a nuthatch.

18:38 a thrush, perhaps a song thrush or a redwing. i think a song thrush. --- or a mistle thrush. ( :help:)
the thrush is one and the same in three different places. the great tit belongs together with the thrush in the blue box.

the birds in the blue frames belong together.

all birds in the above pictures are in the same size scale, unaltered.
then also a blue tit.
the thrush made a buzzing voice.
18:41 the thrush was joined by other thrushes. there were at least four of them.
all these birds were in the same picture without copy-pasting. :whistling:

18:42 a jay joined the company. he /she was hiding an acorn.
18:44 a blackbird flew to the top branch. then a great tit flew to the right side of the nest.

there hay have been more calls, too, but i didn't systematically search for them. this i found by accident.

6:33 - 6:41 two pygmy owls called and sang many times.

the Sun was just coming up from behind the clouds. the eagle arrived just about a minute before the light became impossible.

yes Liz, that's a Latvian baby with a brand-new shiny ring. :laugh:

7:55 a great tit talked under the nest....
7:56 the tit came up to the right branch, looked at the eagle, said ti-tii-tii and flew away. :laugh:
