Teo leaves the nest, the female starts eating the fish a few moments later.

09:36 When Teo flies to the nest, the female hastily rushes out. She comes back recognizing Teo.
However, he has since left the nest for the female. He is very considerate.

The presence of the female is likely to re-motivate him. I'm afraid she will not stay.
We already had a Finnish female here before...they are just passing through.

I don't know if there are cases of osprey from Finland settled in Latvia? :puzzled:
Never say never.

:hi:
I can't follow this story with Teo. I can't watch Teo suffer...or, Teo certainly doesn't suffer but I do.

I understand and sympathize.
On the day when the Finnish female returned only once in the afternoon, Teo came to the nest countless times with fish and waited. Flew away...came back.
I'm terribly sorry too. I don't know if there really are that few (female) Osprey there? There was hardly any male competition either...
His hormones could soon tip over, then his restlessness and his urges will slow down a bit.
A great male...

:hi: Yes, Sova, I'm also very worried about Teo! Kind, cute Teo! He is not looking for new nests. He is returning here, despite the fact that he has suffered setbacks here since 2017. Where are all the mature females?! A beautiful lonely Teo lives here! I don't understand - what is wrong as intended by Nature? This is not the first season for him when he is ready, and the females are flying away....Unfortunately, Polly is right, hormones will fade soon...

Hello,
we don't know how the fate of Theo and our UW will turn out, but the fact that we were able to see the chicken Ivo and Iiris is amazing.
In the video you can see how Theo brought the fish for her. And how long he passed it, how he flew away several times, but then returned and put the fish on her back. Very touching. :loveshower:
