Re: Estonian Eagle Owl Nest 2022
Hello - the owl was here or maybe two different ones - wonderful
One owl was working a bit on the floor of the nest and took a stick to the site.
What great moments coming on and the owl is there.

20:46:08 — 20:50:43
The male brought the prey (a bird?), the female flew in with him, took the prey from him and flew away with it. The male remained in the nest, arranged it. Twice he stretched himself to his full height, as if something was bothering him and he was trying to swallow it. Then he flew away. Both voices are heard from the forest.

Hi - Owl was coming in the end of 21:50 to the nest, 22:01:13 the second owl arrived but left again. So the second was only there for very short and the first one left 22:08:39.
Sorry, but I can never say who is who.

Bleggi! Thanks for the great photo! The second one was a female. She made such a sound as if she asked him: “How are you?”, And flew away!

Hello everyone!
4:04-4:10 Both birds were in the nest. The female flew in first, followed by the male, judging by the sounds they made. The female flew away, and the male remained in the nest for quite some time, sorting out the sticks.
(Or maybe the other way around? )

Hello everyone!
The male was in the nest. Before he flew to the nest, his conversation with the female was heard. Maybe he called her to this nest?

Hello everyone!
05:51 -06:08:35 Two females of the common goosander (Mergus merganser) (?) flew into the nest of Bubo bubo and, apparently, both called the males to this nest!
Many thanks to Hallanvaara for the timestamps.

Yes, Goosanders. But they don't call males to the nest. Goosanders are nesting in holes not in such nests and only females are brooding. Males don't take a part in incubation
