There was a small moment where the eaglet was scared. It happened when Helju picked up the bird and swung it past the eaglet's face.

Breakfast at Nest Sweet Nest.

06:52:45 - Eaglet is fed from yesterday's waterfowl.
08:27:51 - Kalju delivers new prey. It is a duckling. Another right talon delivery, as seen here:

Image

08:31:01 - Helju picks up the duckling.

If one peers closely, one should be able to make out the bill, eye stripe and dark dorsal down patterning as light flashing through foliage catches the lifeless form.
Unfortunately, keying most ducklings to species is well beyond me.

Image

Helju has removed the head at this point, but she helpfully allows us a glimpse of dark webbed feet.

Image

08:33:45 - Eaglet is fed. Happy eaglet.

Liz01 did a good job of noting each of the prey deliveries and feedings today, so I won't bother. :>

How about a screenshot in the soft light of evening, instead.

Image

An hour and a half of daylight left. Will there be another delivery? If not...

Goodnight, dear Soomaa. Keep wild.

Fairly certain I heard a human scaling the tree at 10:38:52. Can't connect to the camera now on my end. Is there a ringing today? Am I mistaken?

Edit: Comment from Kotkaklubi in chat, "Yes, Urmas is ringing the chick. Sorry for the lost YT stream. Don't know the reason. Will update a video of the ringing afterwards if the direct recording works."
