In her absence, timid caresses are exchanged. :D

12:29 H21 leaves the nest downstairs
'31 she returns.

H21 picks up a leftover meal, leaving it to a chick.
Image

'33 She jumps on the side branch and her little rascals have the nest to themselves. :chick:

'37 like lightning, H21 flies up into the tree.

13:00 The playtime for the Mini-H's is over.
H21 returns to the nest via the upper branch.

I'll be offline until at least tomorrow evening.

Hello Polly and everyone. :hi:

Feeding

H44 (14:26:17) brings in small prey, takes a screech and comes out .fast.
14:27 - 32

H21 (20:24:51) Puts in big prey, before sounds and the chickens ask because they haven't eaten for many hours.
20:25 - 47

H21 Uses the branch a lot, the chicks are already big and you have to leave them room to stretch out and flap their wings.
H21 is already screeching frequently (like last year)

20:22 Two chickens peck H21 in the feathers.
The chicks throw their droppings far outside the nest.
It can be clearly seen that the nascent feathers when their wings are closed are more developed in two of the chicks (the first ones to be born surely and they will be more advanced all the time in their development) (20:47:22).

They grow fast and are almost three weeks old now.

Greetings

 :2thumbsup:

Next 07:11 ...I won't come back anymore.
I see five relaxed H's... four small, one large.

07:50 H21 flies down and out. Her chicks follow with glances.

She calls long drawn out with short calls.
It sounds strict, but I think H21 is a very tough female anyway, which she intends to express herself confidently and does. It matters when a female does it.
Hardly perceptible in the midst of the other bird calls - but still easy to hear.

07:53 H21 returns with food.
She starts offering bites to her chicks. The bundles of joy are like fleas... on the one hand lazy, on the other hand playful, but not really hungry. Bites are taken.
Image

'54 H44 flutters into the nest with a thin branch.
Image

He really has an extremely high cuteness factor... the branch is meant to be cute - H44 really does and thinks of everything. :innocent:

H21 squeaks at him and he leaves the nest.

08:01 H21 is concentrating...attentively downwards.
Image

'04 She leaves the nest nervously, flies towards the industrial area.
She calls - very angry, urgent. Between their calls H44 can be heard, definitely him. His soothing 'Gjak'. :innocent:
Then a third call of a Goshawk...also very excited. Then it will be quiet.

08:15 In the tree opposite, an H can be seen moving in the tree ...H21.
She now returns to the nest with a twig.

Unfortunately an update spoiled my video. :banghead: I can't go back in time and repeat it.

Feeding 08:1 - 30

H21 continues the feeding offer. The Minis accept the offer - there's no question that any of them are, or could be, potentially malnourished.
They seem overfed to me at the moment. To put it mildly - they are doing really well.

08:55 H44 calls - H21 follows the call and leaves the nest.
H21 calls again as before in the grove. She sounds strained and worried as her chicks gently snooze. :innocent:

12:51 H21 seems to have discovered her partner or simply lets her eyes wander attentively...
She starts calling.

13:08 H44 brings food to the nest.
H21 stiffens and grows tall, almost menacing. Reminded me of rival cats standing motionless in front of each other, ears flattened.
H44 may soon be counted in the nest. He flutters away loyally - not without having lovingly plucked one of his chicks at the delicate flight feathers. :innocent:
