4:24 - 4:27 an insect sat on the lens. maybe a spider (but they aren't insects, they are spiders :whistling: )

4:36 cranes called, first far. then 'our' cranes replied. they talked over a long distance.
it almost sounded as if there were far-away cranes in two different places.

6:12 a bumblebee. she looked similar as the bumblebee(or wasp) yesterday: dark front and bright yellow (stripy) back side. a long body compared to the width.

6:55 - 6:56 a great tit and a willow tit visited.


what an odd couple, but we have seen them together earlier, too. :whistling:

7:16 a little bird visited the upper left branch and top branch. smaller than a thrush, slimmer than tits. also the colour was impossible to see against the sky. a little grey bird? :mrgreen:

8:12:23 a song thrush flew to the top. he sang....
8:20 he finished. i could not see him fly away.

14:42:22a wood pigeon flew to the spruce on right. he sang there...
14:43:31 a wood pigeon flew by our top the spruce on right.
14:43:37 flew away from there to the right.
14:43:46 another wood pigeon flew away from the spruce on right and by the nest.


it was still raining. the rain stopped gradually at about 3 pm.

19:56:25 a little grey bird on the right branch.
19:57:05 on the far left.
mega2 saw the bird already a little earlier. :D
she flew first to a branch on the lower right. she shook her wings like a flycatcher.. ?

20:56 a nuthatch. she was very talkative. :D
she went downstairs and started banging there...
20:59 she came out from under the nest to the right branch and talked even more. :laugh:
21:00 to the nest. then to the left branches.

22:30 a roe deer barked far... looong.


22:53:47 a song thrush flew to the top. he sang there till 22:57. then he sang somewhere else.


23:24:40 the last last bird stopped singing. it was a song thrush.
then no voices, no sounds, nothing. only a few croaks of tree frogs every now and then.

July 3

good morning!

about 3:15 onwards tree frogs began to croak a little.
about 3:20 onwards birds began to sing.

the forest looked sooo beautiful with clouds of mist floating over it. :rolleyes:

4:28 - 4:29 cranes called on the meadow. - or a crane. the voice sounded more like only one crane. it has been like that a long time. i haven't been sure for quite some time if this is a lonely crane or not. :puzzled:
