Good that Waba feeling better again.
Many living creatures () have leeches. In birds these sucking worms are often in the throat, also in the intestine. They can live well with them or have problems, always depending on the respective physical condition, which changes. .
In any case, such an infestation sometimes causes symptoms and sometimes not. Sometimes more or less, different ones, including pain.
Waba tempoarily could have more problems with it than the others.
Really bad would be damages that the infestation can cause (at any time).

Three standing young storks. I see Bonus, Waba and maybe Icks. Not certain about that leg band though.
There seems to be a donut-shaped UFO or a clever smoke-ring above them. It is more obvious in full-screen. 01.08.26

So, the nest is full of beloved black beauties! :headroll: As I suspected, Voog probably chose a place to sleep outside the nest.
I'm happy that S/he is back. We need a farewell video of each of them.

Francesca_V wrote: August 17th, 2022, 9:30 pm What a pity that Voog and Iks don't have a transmitter.
If something happens to Voog or if s/he starts migrating we won't know it.

(Yes, we can be happy that 4 of our little family got a transmitter. ) to
What is more important for Voog and Iks: two more transmitters or fish for fishbasket? :whistling:

Should I make a video of Waba? I mean when she's close to the camera? I don't think you really see much of her throat
