now at last i had time to make pictures to compare the two visits of strange eagles on Sep 24 and Sep 25.
Sep 24
Sep 25
to me they look like different eagles. the tail of the latter look 'tidier' than the tail of the first. also the body of the first eagle was more spotty than the latter eagle's. the eagle on 24th was probably 4-5 CY and the eagle on 25th was a year older.

= a wood pigeon on the right branch.
thank you mega2!
this was a young wood pigeon, no white spots on the neck. after the pigeon landed on the right branch other pigeons flew by from left to right over the meadow. they are ready for migration.

19:56 cranes are calling far.
could they still be flying? it's so dark already. or are they on ground, eating and getting ready for rest for the night?
after 8 pm mallards called at the lake.
20:07 more voices of cranes. the Jupiter is climbing over the upper edge of the picture.

good morning!
thank you Liz!
at last it's not raining. the hard rain stopped at about 10 last night. after that there have been sounds of water: dripping water (from trees?) and burbling of the stream under the tree.
6:14 the tawny owls' calls.
6:25 more!
thank you Liz!

he eats the fish but is very nervous. I think he's afraid that Milda is coming
I have to download the stream. I think it is Voldis.. (I was away ...chat begins for me 11:00 - so no info!)
