10:25 A raven is calling on the nest tree and dropped from above
Image

a second one landed on the higher branch. He has something in his beak
Image

10:26 Raven on the higher branch flew away, the other is inspecting the nest- EDIT: he is eating fish scales
10:27 the other is back. They are arguing about something?

The second flew on the poop branch
10:28:34 Raven went on the higher branch .. then they arguing again? Both flew off

that was interesting. marital quarrel or a quarrel among conspecifics?

I download it! I will add pictures later. ame, unless you already have pics and video?

10:25:14 a sound of landing on the top??
then a raven talked nearby glong - glong - kroo!... then a raven dropped from the top to the top branch. then the raven came down to the nest.
a few seconds later another raven flew to the top branch. the 2nd raven went to the top. the 1st picked fish scales....
10:27 the 2nd raven came down to the nest. they had a little quarrel about the scales (probably). the 2nd raven went back to the top.
10:28 the 1st raven went to the top branch.
10:28:51 both flew away to the left.
soon one of them flew by to the right.

they seemed to have some disagreement so i guess that they weren't a couple. :puzzled:

aha, i see that Liz has seen this, too, and made similar conclusions about their behaviour as i did.

yes Liz, please make pictures!

... they didn't show the insides of their mouths so we can't say if they were young or adults. young ravens have red mouths.

11:53 many great tits to the nest.
11:54 a nuthatch talked near the microphone. then she came up to the nest for a while.
11:57 someone banged the microphone. many great tits on the nest. one one of then peeked in the camera. BOOO!
Image

disturbing the chronology

10:26 the Raven in the nest found a bigger thing and starts eating (I'm almost sure, it is still the fish head bones)

10:27 the other Raven fell from above
Image

then the argument about the fish head bone  I think the call meant give me the bone.
Image

The second took the bone and flew on the poop branch
