Milda has already eaten one breakfast. her crop is full. that doesn't stop her from wanting the fish of Voldis, but she didn't cry.

is there a tuft or two of grass growing on the left side of the nest? Image
i surrounded the tufts with circles and marked two blades which are moving in the wind in the tuft in the front.

18:57 a group of five cranes flew over. the Moon had risen.
(the thumbnail picture is not a composite of many frames, but all the spots were found in the same frame!)

7:41 a crow called in the forest nearby... then also a platypus called.
7:42:07 sound of wings flying by or maybe (rather) a bird flew to the top. there was no sound of landing though. a fairly light bird?
7:42:41 the sound of someone shaking the wings nearby??
7:43:42 a platypus called.
7:43:51 a bird flew away from our top (invisibly). the tree shook only little. the bird was not very heavy. maybe a crow?? a jay would be too light to make a sound of take-off.

October 6

good morning!

it was a rather windy night so interesting voices were hard to find (there are also few of those in this time of the year).

01:04 a tawny owl called.
01:05 again.
