Honestly, I don't think there was anything wrong with Voog's behaviour. Nor with that of any of the other storklets.
Every year we see beak fighting, mock attacks and some teasing on the nest. I think this is a game to increase agility and alertness. In many animal species littermates exhibit this play behaviour. Some youngsters are a bit more assertive than others. Sometimes things get a bit rough, yes, but the intentions are not hostile. If the "victim" reacts angrily to excessive (or hurtful) teasing, the "attack" stops. This is how they learn to indicate their limits. All this is useful training for later.
BS are wild animals that need to be permanently on edge, and I think that's why it's good that Bonus wasn't coddled by his new nestmates (I mean: not more than the others. We also saw a lot of cuddling). Especially after being cared for by humans for so long, it will probably have sharpened Bonus’ 'wild' traits a bit.
"Being sweet, shy and submissive" are not traits that will improve our wild animals' chances of survival.

But for wild animals, we cannot (constantly) do that. Yes, they have to (learn to) defend themselves and be resilient and fierce.

what a difference these few days have made. Three days ago we were all desperately hoping that Bonus move on, and now we want him / her to stay at this wonderful spot. But whatever s/he decides to do next, s/he achieved a lot in those last day.
